Warehouse Manager 

Department: Operations 

Reports to: Operations Director or Supply Chain Director 

Location: Commerce, CA 

Job Summary:   

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products. This role requires leadership in maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing warehouse space, and ensuring the safety and productivity of the warehouse team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Warehouse Operations Management: 

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. 

Ensure all warehouse processes are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures. 

Develop and implement efficient warehouse layout and space optimization strategies. 

Coordinate with the procurement and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. 

1. Inventory Control: 

• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and monthly physical counts. 

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. 

• Monitor inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. 

2. Team Management: 

• Lead, manage, and develop warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. 

• Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure staff adherence to safety and operational protocols. 

• Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and productivity. 

3. Safety and Compliance: 

• Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees. 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. 

• Implement and oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
